We are now looking for Senior Smart 3D Administrator to execute projects. We offer a job for managing world class, leading technology plant design software. We operate in Finland in over 20 locations, so the primary location for the job can be at any of our offices. The employment is permanent.

Sr. Smart 3D Administrator is responsible for handling set up and administration tasks related to the assigned major project or several smaller or less complex projects. In your role, you will execute Smart 3D set-up & configuration, user training & deliverables in projects in a safe manner, budget, schedule, and quality.
You should have a desire to work on multi-discipline local as well overseas projects and be able to drive discipline goals by working together with assigned discipline designers and engineers. The Senior Smart 3D Administrator reports to the Head of Project and Engineering Systems.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set-up and maintain projects environment in Smart 3D.
- Prepare Piping ISO and GA Drawing Templates for all disciplines.
- Prepared clash check and various kinds of report and model review file for checking the quality of 3D Modes.
- Follow department and client drafting methods and standards.
- Create auditing requirements and checking for quality assurance of the design efforts.
- Co-ordinate and /or negotiate with clients, vendors, and other discipline engineers for Smart 3D related problems.
- Maintain and verify daily backup routines.
- Create reports as per project requirements.
- Training to designers in all Discipline modules in Smart 3D. Instruct and co-ordinate piping designer and Smart 3D operator.
- Design accurate system designs, in a given time period, adjusting to project requirements.
The following responsibilities may be also added
- Set-up and maintain reference database for Smart 3D by Smart plant Reference Data.
- Prepare MTO interface file for Smart Plant Materials as a product.
- Set up global workshare for MSSQL (or Oracle for Smart 3D)
- Integration within Smart Application family and SmartPlant Foundation (SPF)
- Piping and other discipline Reference Data Management in Smart 3D
What we are looking for?
We are looking for a person who already have several years relevant engineering experience in providing engineering design application support in the oil and gas/petrochemical industry. In addition to this, we wish that you have extensive experience in administrating and supporting of Smart 3D.
You should have the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical instrumentation and CAD support. You have good negotiating skills as well as analytic and pro-active approach in ICT-related matters. All in all, we are looking for a hardworking colleague with a strong attitude for project planning and implementing new design software.
Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate (BEng, BSc. or MSc.) in Mechanical or Technical related degree.
- Experience with Smart Review or Navisworks Manage and Smart Sketch, is required to be successful in this position.
- Smart 3D upgrade experience
- Basic understanding of SQL query language
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, both client and server, and Domain related concepts
- Virtualization concepts, VMware or equal
- Basic understanding of relational database concepts
- Piping Material management concepts (material classes, components, engineering rules) in Smart 3D
- Fluent in the English language
The following qualifications are also appreciated
- Smart Reference Data –product knowledge
- Integration & correlation with Smart P&ID, S3D, SPI, SPEL experience with SPF.
- Object data model understanding (with UML language)
- Smart 3D Reference Data management, especially piping discipline
- Microsoft development environment, namely .Net programming language
